Scottish meets - If you don't go you’ll never know if the ‘conditions’ good or not. Take the chance and you’re bound to get something done!!!!

Norway Ice Climbing (guaranteed Rjukan ice!!!) - Please contact Tim Larrard for advice on flight and accommodation options to the home of the ‘heroes of telemark’.
Day meets - Ideal for those short of time – meeting point details will be emailed out to all members the week prior.

Font - We drive to Scotland for a weekend so why not Fontainebleau. More than two days and your arms will be crying for mercy anyhow! - check out

Kalymnos hot rock week - Please contact Dave Williams 1 for more info - deadline for flight and accommodation payments is the end of Jan 08.

Alpine Meet - The Bernese Oberland, Switzerland. Camping for two weeks in the spectacular Lauterbrunnen valley shadowed by the mighty Jungfrau, Monch and Eiger. Several valley crag’s nearby with 100’s of routes. Excellent walking and MTB options.

Count House - Always a popular meet - advance deposit needed to secure a place (details to follow)

Bothy trip - A backpacking or possible MTB trip to Mosedale Cottage in the Eastern lakes - bring along the whiskey some good tales and a few candles !!!

Guests - On ‘away’ meets in huts and during bank holiday meets at Tal y Braich members and prospective members have priority. Guests are welcome if space is available.

2009 diary dates

 Camping on Lundy between the 5th - 12th Sept. Mike Gutteridge is also running a ‘reserve’ list for the already full ‘Barn’ on the same dates.
- Andy Clarke is planning a trip to the iconic Ama Dablam, 6856m in Nepal during 2009 - call him if your lungs and willpower are strong enough!!
